Assessing Maternal and Newborn Health Commodities in Bangladesh
Ending Eclampsia, 2016
The UN Commission on Life-Saving Commodities for Women and Children aims to increase access to 13 commodities in 50 countries. As part of this global effort, the Population Council conducted a landscape analysis in Bangladesh to review policies, guidelines, availability, and use of these commodities. The landscaping exercise had two objectives: 1) To provide a comprehensive description of maternal and newborn health (MNH) commodity issues from policy to point of care; and 2) To engage stakeholders in rolling out the UN Commission recommendations.
